WELL Health-Safety Rating – Look for the Seal!

The WELL Health-Safety seal communicates to everyone entering a building that evidence-based measures have been adopted and third-party verified – a visible indication of confidence and trust. The WELL Health-Safety Rating for Facility Operations and Management, developed by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), helps buildings and organizations address the health, safety and well-being of their people. The building’s health and safety efforts are third-party verified by the Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI), the same organization that verifies LEED certifications.

Servidyne has quickly become a leading consultant assisting buildings nationwide to achieve the WELL Health-Safety Rating, working with over 100 buildings in the process thus far. We have developed a streamlined approach that minimizes cost, time and effort, while providing an insightful engineering risk assessment as part of the program.

Focused on operational policies, maintenance protocols and emergency plans, the WELL Health-Safety Rating includes 22 strategies to:

  • Keep spaces clean and sanitized
  • Provide essential health benefits and services
  • Communicate health and safety efforts
  • Prepare for an emergency
  • Assess air and water quality

The IWBI will be launching a major PR campaign promoting the Health-Safety Rating to the general public starting in late January, with TV commercials with the tag line, “Look for the Seal.”
