SERVIDYNE SURPASSES ENERGY STAR MILESTONE

200th Customer Building Achieves Prestigious Energy Star Label

ATLANTA – June 24, 2008 – SERVIDYNE, INC. (NASDAQ – SERV), a building performance efficiency and real estate company, announced today that the number of its customers’ commercial buildings that have successfully achieved ENERGY STAR® Labels recently surpassed 200, ranking Servidyne among the industry’s leading third-party service providers. ENERGY STAR is an energy performance rating system of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy. This program has measured and rated more than 62,000 commercial buildings since its inception in 1992.

We are certainly proud of earning this distinction, as we continue to provide our customers with the expert guidance that enables their facilities to be recognized among the nation’s most energy efficient buildings, said Alan R. Abrams, Servidyne’s Chairman, President and CEO.

Robert Sauchelli, National Program Manager for the ENERGY STAR Service and Product Provider Program, noted that contributions like Servidyne’s are very significant. Companies that assist commercial property managers and owners in achieving this high energy performance rating play an important part of the success of our program. Without the assistance of organizations like Servidyne, fewer building owners would be able to maintain energy efficient and environmentally responsible facilities.

To-date, five Servidyne customers have achieved ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Awards by working with Servidyne to demonstrate their commitment to energy efficiency as they realize significant energy cost savings. Servidyne itself is a six-time winner of ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year.

Earning an ENERGY STAR Label is one of the first steps in gaining LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification. Servidyne’s engineers evaluate building operations and guide customers in determining which components will benefit most from operational changes, improved preventive maintenance practices, and infrastructure upgrades. Servidyne annually helps numerous buildings reach their sustainability goals, and recently helped a customer in Florida achieve the state’s first-ever LEED for Existing Buildings (EB) Gold Rating.
