We have been performing energy audits for more than 30 years, during which time we have accumulated our broad knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of HVAC, lighting, and other building infrastructure systems in varying applications. Tracking down opportunities for your benefit.

Servidyne uses a three-phase process that allows you to minimize your up-front analysis costs while maximizing achievable energy and operating cost savings. These phases are:

Phase One: Screening – Servidyne will investigate your current utility bills to determine if more economical rates might apply to your facility. Our engineers then compare your utility (energy and water) consumption and costs to databases of similar buildings to determine each building’s relative efficiency. These comparisons help determine the magnitude of potential efficiency opportunities, and help to identify and prioritize the worst performing buildings in your portfolio.

Phase Two: Preliminary Audit & LEED-EB Site Visit – The next step involves a preliminary on-site audit. Our registered, professional engineers will personally visit your site and work with your technical personnel to record system information within your building, such as building construction, occupant and lighting densities, operating schedules and equipment nameplate data. We observe the actual way the building’s systems are performing, compared to their original design intent. This data is crucial to establishing realistic baselines for energy and environmental baselines, against which you can measure all future efficiency initiatives. We also complete the ENERGY STAR benchmarking score which is necessary for pursuing LEED-EB certification.

Phase Three: Investment Grade Audit & LEED-EB Site Visit – If the preliminary audit shows great improvement potential, the next step is often an investment grade audit. These audits result in comprehensive reports that identify the specific energy cost savings opportunities that provide the greatest benefit. We perform detailed calculations or simulations that result in accurate estimates of energy and operating savings and installation costs. We also account for the interaction of the various energy saving measures. The information in these audit reports is tailored to each of our customers, helping you to make informed economic decisions best suited to their business.
